Turn-out seat buggy, Australian, circa 1880, this handsome four seat buggy uses two five leaf Concord springs on a three reach undercarriage, the centre reach being iron braced. The coachwork features a fixed seat with squab cushion and apron, shifting bar brackets and iron-braced backrest, on a coal box style body with hinged occasional seat folding out onto iron scrolls from the rear compartment.

Barouche, English, circa 1860, this stylish Barouche is a fine example of one of the most fashionable town vehicles of the mid 19th century, capable of being driven with a smaller pair of horses but able to accommodate a liveried coachman and groom and two or four passengers. Such an equipage required the highest quality of finish to every detail and all barouches were beautifully crafted and exceptionally well made and finished.

Seating two vis a vis, the rear seat has a folding hood, the coachwork is supported on finely wrought steel elliptic springs and had miniature coach steps and wooden hub iron tyred wheels.

Spindle seat canoe front wagonette, hanson & Thomas, truro, cornwall, English/Australian, circa 1900, this delightful varnished six seat wagonette uses English mahogany coachwork by Hanson & Thomas, circa 1900, with a steam bent belt rail and turned spindles to the sides and seat back.
