Jiri Kosina (1891-?), Czechoslovakia / Karlstejn Castle. 1935, lithograph in colours, [Prumyslova Tiskarna, Prague.], 99.5 x 62 cm, Kosina, a landscape painter and graphic designer, created this poster - one of a series of painterly landscapes issued by the Czechoslovak Government Railway in the mid 1930s. Karlstejn Castle, situated near Prague, is a gothic castle built by King Charles IV (the Holy Roman Emperor in the 14th century), specifically as a place to safely house the royal jewels and holy relics.

'Welcome Home' boxed set of postcards by Raphael Tuck. The interior divided into sections, each titled, 'England', 'Scotland', 'Ireland', 'Wales' etc. This set (as per embossed inscription) presented to the delegates of the Imperial Press Conference in London in 1909. Apart from the scenic cards, there are trains, cruise ships and battleships. The set is complete housing 254 cards, which are in remarkably good condition.
