Adolph Kopp rare cameo brooch beautifully carved with female profile portrait adorned with grapes and leaves, mounted in 9ct yellow gold, late 19th century. Kopp operated from Fremantle and Perth in Western Australia in the late 19th and early 20th century. He died in 1905 and his wife then married his brother and continued the business. Sadly anti-German sentiment at the outbreak of World War I saw mobs attack the shop and it was finally closed down in 1916. 6 cm high
