Crown Devon Musical Tankard c. 1935 The front depicts a bar room scene with two drinking companions and a serving maid. The reverse shows two hands and an inscription of three verses of Auld Lang Syne, enwreathed by a garland of roses, shamrocks and thistles. The handle is formed from thistles. The tune played when the tankard is lifted is 'Auld Lang Syne'. Painted 'Crown Devon Fieldings', 'Made in England' and 'Rd No 804873' marks on inside rim of base. Not a working model. H.11.4 cm
