1881 Steeplechase Trophy: A gold mounted Claret Jug, unmarked (tests as 15ct), the collar engraved with hounds and arabesques between two beaded bands, cartouche engraved 'The Melbourne Hunt Club Steeple Chase, October 1st 1881 - Won by Young Deceiver, the property of John E. Spicer, Esq', the lid with finial modelled as a horse, the flared trumpet shaped clear glass body with cut and ribbed pattern, 29 cm tall. Appears to be the work of renowned silversmith Edward Fischer of Geelong (1828-1911).

This sextant inscribed 'Presented by Greenwich Hospital to Edw'd Parker Bedwell' is believed to have been presented to Staff-Commander Edward Parker Bedwell Royal Navy (1834-1919). E. P. Bedwell started his naval career as a student at the Greenwich Royal Hospital School, joining on 22nd August 1845, aged 11.
