Taxidermied animals are once more a highlight (third auction in succession) of Philips Auctions sale from noon Sunday at 47 Glenferrie Road, Malvern.

Many of the items are unreserved and the auction also features art deco dining settings and figures along with 100 ceramic, porcelain and glassware items from the one vendor.

The collection includes a set of six Salvador Dali tiles (lot 32), Austrian Moser, Galle, Legras (lot 190) and Murano glassware, Dutch Gouda and English Bretby porcelain, Lalique, Herend, a 1954 Herminia Boyd vase (lot 294) and John Campbell pottery.

Art deco dining attractions are the two Grant Featherstone chairs (lots 404 and 442), a modernist Eileen grey screen (lot 405) and a 1940s dining suite (lot 435).

One of Australia’s top accounting firms is acting for a company with an art collection of 17 works from some of Australia’s leading artists including John Coburn (lot 322), David Boyd (lot 353), Louis Kahan (lot 354) and Charles Blackman (lot 351).
