A George II two handled sterling silver loving cup, 1758 London, with maker's mark for Benjamin Cartwright I, the bell shaped cup with a waisted tiered base, with extravagant 'C' scroll handles with flattened thumb pieces and flared pointed ends, with a threaded reinforcing ring to the body, delicate bright cut neoclassical decorations to one side, similar to the other and engraved to a cartouche; crisply hallmarked to the upper body, silver weight 498gr height 14.5 cm.
