An impressive Moorcroft Orchid pattern lamp base and shade, circa 1936, the waisted cylindrical body painted with a continuous pattern of orchid blooms and leaves in colours of red, mauve, yellow and green, on a graduated glass shade and porcelain finial, the brass base with engraved foliate decoration.
