A Chinese porcelain famille verte dish, Kangxi period (1662-1722), painted with a scholar riding a horse with his attendant leaving from home, the cavetto decorated with a band of auspicious symbols separated by four 'Ruyi' head shaped floral scrolls, three flower branches painted to the exterior, the base with an underglaze blue mark of a censer within a double circle, 21 cm diameter
