A fine antique Chinese bronze vase with timber base, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). the monumental pedestal vase of ovoid form with a wide waisted neck and straight-sided rim, finely cast with various ruyi, key fret, lappet and stiff leaf borders enclosing a deep frieze of cranes flying through swirling clouds upon a diaper ground, upon an antique timber stand with gilt decoration.
