A sterling silver spoon and a large salt cellar 1902 London, with maker's marks for John George Smith, importer & 'Foreign agent' 1901 Chester, with maker's marks for William Aitken. The spoon with a pierced knot stem and a figural finial, the bowl also bearing French (Hanau?) garantie mark of 1733/34 period and other rubbed mark; an elegant pierced and beaded oval salt with ball and claw feet; both items hallmarked.
