Description:
A Victorian gold enamel and garnet pendant brooch, the lozenge shaped panel centrally set with an oval garnet cut en cabochon, with black and white enamel detail throughout and to the elaborate bale, with a glazed section to the reverse, mounted in 15ct gold. Condition: pendant/brooch presents in very good condition. Some minor wear to the reverse and small amount of splitting to a few edges, having a pin fitting and a detachable pendant fitting. Minor wear to garnet. Pin fitting has been reversed to elongate pendant with a newer pin however with original fitting. Modification is visible to the reverse.
