A pair of 'Scimitar' Carlton Ware candlesticks, 1932-1936, pattern 3651, design attributed to Violet Elmer, the bold and vibrant Art Deco sticks with stylised enamel flowers and shark fin panels with patterns in black, yellow, orange, fawn and gilt upon a rain drop patterned turquoise and purple ground; backstamps and pattern numbers underside; one nozzle with repair; with backstamp, pattern and additional numerals underside. Height 9 cm. Diameter 14 cm.
