A fine Georgian sterling silver tankard, 1750/51 London, with maker's mark for Richard Gurney & Thomas Cooke II, the tankard of slightly compressed ogee form, raised on a broad waist to a shaped and stepped circular foot, having an elegant ear form handle with simple scroll motifs to the terminal and thumbpiece; hallmarked underside, silver weight 498gr. Height 12.5 cm.
