A fine set of six German Imperial .875 silver meat platters, circa 1850 Berlin, with maker's mark for Johann George Hossauer, court silversmith, medallist, goldsmith to the King of Prussia, Frederick Wilhelm III, the heavy gauge pristine platters with serpentine gadroon and threaded edges, bearing Royal Crown crests to the rim; hallmarked underside, loth mark 14, other stamps and individual plate numbers, silver weight 3915gr, diameter 26 cm.
