A Victorian Varvill & Sons Plough Plane with fourteen cast steel tools, mid 19th century, with stamp for Varvill's Ebor works at York; also stamped G Gingell, well crafted, probably beech, with brass arm tips and other brass and steel fittings, the associated 'Irons' or tools fabricated by J. Howarth, G Gingell, Mottram, W. Brooke & Sons, Barker & Drew and others; plane also stamped to both ends E.M.J, length 23 cm.
