A very rare miniature pair of octagonal Kakiemon-style Arita bowls, early Edo, 17-18 th century. Each one with floral motifs in very delicate enamels and gilt, a stylised band around the inner rim in kossu blue enamel and iron-red, 4.7 cm x 7.3 cm (variable). Provenance: R & V Tregaskis, 1980s
