A Chinese 'Dingyao' bubble bowl, Northern Song (960-1127), Hebei province, the plain bowl is covered except for the mouth rim with a translucent ivory-white glaze, the characteristic 'tea-drops' glaze are found on the exterior, the mouth rim is mounted with a gold band (18ct.), 3.5 cm high, 7.8 cm diameter (variable).
