A large vintage Japanese trunk, Taisho period, early 20th century, the domed trunk of generous proportions, fabricated from lightweight timbers, of unadorned form, with iron strapping and a trio of simple pin form hinges, a 'C' form handle and shaped escutcheon, the sides with looped handles, probably for a use with a carry pole. Height 75 cm. Width 162 cm. Depth 73 cm
