A pair of bronze court shoes with pierced detail by Nando Muzi (size 41) along with a pair of Garry Glitter silvered lace up plimsolls by Terry de Havilland, London (size 41), These sensible running shoes, covered in glitter, were poised amidst high heeled, strappy be-jewelled and multi-bowed female footwear frivolities which Tinker Bell would have flown for., The running shoes which Glitter wears on stage have low wedge heels, kid lining and are outlined and structured in silver kid. The body of the shoe, also leather, is covered in silver glitter. Disappointing white laces were later replaced with silver roller skate boot laces. Garry Glitter had ordered the shoes, but not collected them from Terry de Havilland. Not so long after that Glitter went broke and his costumes sold up, but in 1982 when Glitter toured Australia he was wearing another pair of these shoes.
