A superb burr walnut breakfront bookcase, by Waring and Gillows with plaque, with finely moulded bonnet top over four astragal-glazed doors inlaid with boxwood and ebony stringing, on a cabinet with four horizontal drawers and doors with burr-walnut veneered centre panels, the side cupboards opening to four mahogany and brass handled drawers, all on a finely moulded base with bun feet. Height 175 cm, length 249 cm. Depth 53 cm. Illustrated.
