Description:
A French ormolu and Sevres clock, circa 1890, by L.G, the intricately cast ormolu case with elaborate decorative features including wheat sheafs, shells and scrolling foliage surrounding a white porcelain dial with Roman numerals, the clock is flanked by two Sevres panels with gilt borders and cartouches of hand-painted flowers. Above the clock is a Sevres urn similarly painted and topped with an ormolu urn of flowers with cascading wreaths. Height 62 cm. Width 47 cm. Depth 15 cm
