A Continental porcelain urn with cover, late 19th century, the moulded urn with borders of yellow upon a white ground with handpainted floral festoons, ermine borders, wreaths and ram's head handles in the Louis XVI manner, a gadroon lower section and raised on a spreading pedestal to a square base, the striking cover of trumpet form with acanthus leaf moulding trimmed in gold with a dome and knopped finial; unmarked. Height 39 cm
