A Thai gold jewelled amulet necklace, circa 15 th Century, consisting of a fine gold rod with spiral wire casing, a pierced, cylindrical amulet case, domed ends and two beads all set with multi-colour jewels, with rich polychrome effect and granulation and filigree decoration. This very rare piece has its original red glass interior, inside which the gold foil has traces of an inscription.14ct yellow gold. Weight 60 grams. Length of cylinder 6.5 cm. Diameter of end beads 16.67 mm. Overall length of cord 54 cm.
