Description:
A Japanese Hineo Kabuto, Momoyama period (1573-1602), early iron Kabuto with two inscribed signatures on the inner surface of the plates, signature by Myochin in his 77th year in relation to the addition of the mabizashi (visor) in 1598, with additional signature of Fujiwara Munemichi and date of 1663, and a five -lame Shikoro (neck guard), each side of the helmet features a moon and sun decoration as well as a fukigaeshi (turnback) with a family mon symbol and a shot proof-mark on the helmet plates.
