A fine French amboyna and rosewood wardrobe, circa 1870, with striking amboyna panelling and strapwork upon richly toned rosewood having an arched pediment pierced and carved with an acanthus crest above a panelled cornice, a shaped full length bevelled mirror with a Prince of Wales feather embellishment to a lower fitted drawer, decorated with carved corbels, finials and substantial urn form feet.
