An exceptional English amboyna and Sevres secretaire, late 19th century, with restrained neoclassical influence, the shaped porcelain mounted cabinet with a high arched crest to a pediment enclosing a lunette shaped cupboard with two doors each with porcelain plaques supported by slender knopped pillars, the shaped lower section with a fitted frieze drawer and supported on fluted legs to an undertier, finely decorated with ebony and gilt bronze cast rope and floral trims.
