A sterling silver oval George III engraved card tray, 1771 London, with maker's marks I.C, with a gently everted gadrooned rim, the cavetto engraved with a swagged frieze and centred with a rope twist floral border enclosing a crest bearing the Latin inscription of the MacDonald clan, 'Per Mare Per Terras'. Silver weight 227gr. Length 23 cm. Width 16 cm
