A Maori Dark Grey Stone Adze with a milky effect over back and sides from bruising, the front shows grinding and polishing. Front and back surfaces slightly concave sides flat, the poll with a rounded edge, the side's angle outwards down to a curved uneven but quite sharp cutting edge. Collected from the South Taranaki area. Length 18.2 cm. Depth 6.3 cm. Height 2.9 cm.
