A 19th century Northern Region Australia fishing spear a single long shaft of light wood with black pigment remnants (the upper shaft broken but present), three wood points bound and gummed to the shaft, red and white painted bands. Provenance; collected by a close friend of and gifted to the vendors' great grandfather in the 1880s. Length 136 cm.
