A 'Bell' dish by Carlton Ware, 1933, pattern 3774; square dish shape, design attributed to Violet Elmer. a highly coloured and richly jewelled design depicting sprays of bell flowers and other stylised blooms between brocaded and gilded shapes upon a yellow gloss ground, a fine Satsuma style brocaded and patterned border to the rim; with backstamp, pattern number and others underside.
