Chinese calligraphy by Qian Juntao (1907-1998), ink on paper, inscribed and signed, one seal of the artist@. 92 x 18 cm. Provenance: Famous Shanghai Rong family collection. This calligraphy was dedicated to Rong Lisheng the grandfather of the current collector. Rong Lisheng was the uncle of the former vice-president of PRC. Rong Yiren (1619-1998) (Rong Yiren is also known as 'The Red Capitalist' in China).
