A silver overlaid clay teapot, after Shi Da bin, early 20th century decorated with dragon chasing flaming pearl motif, stamped to the base with the apocryphal Shi Da bin mark, 9 cm at highest point Provenance: Private Collection, Melbourne, thence by descent to the current owner whose great aunt was once a performer and socialite in China during the 1890s- 1930s.
