A Chinese Imperial yellow dragon robe fragment, mid 19th century, the deep saffron ground decorated with three Imperial five-clawed golden dragons, amongst a field of scrolling clouds, the auspicious twelve symbols, including the 'Fu' symbol, the power to judge, and the axe, to punish, as well as peonies, blossoms and anemones, and other auspicious emblems, framed. 112 cm high (additional appliques fragile, loss of thread)
