An excellent Louis XVI bronze clock garniture, circa 1880s, movement by AD Mougin, a rectilinear base with lobed ends below a vertical plinth-style mount containing a fine handpainted enamel dial with Arabic numerals and surmounted by an amphora, the whole decorated with acanthus leaves, floral swags, and scrolls to the side with vegetal and pendant garlands; the candelabra conforming. Height 46 cm. Width 32 cm. Depth 15 cm candelabra height 35.5 cm
