Two Burmese betel nut boxes c. 19th/early 20th century, of repousse silver, the sides decorated with zodiac motif panels to sides and geometric designs etched to base, one with goat motif panels to sides with goat motif to sides and lid center, elephant etched to base. Provenance: from the private collection of an Australian diplomat, acquired from various posts throughout Asia in the 1980's and 1990's 13 cm diameter, 10 cm high each (2)
