A New Hall porcelain teapot and cover, 1795-1,800, pattern 171, the straight sided shaped pot with a flat collar and a recessed lid with finial, decorated in the Chinese export manner in puce, emerald and iron red colours with a loose floral spray in a basket, and other scattered sprigs and delicate patterned borders; with a freely painted red N171 mark underside.
