A gilt bronze clock garniture in the Louis XV manner. 1878, with maker's mark for L.P Japy et Cie, having a dial with enamel chapters and Roman numerals set within an arched rectangular body surmounted and flanked by urns and ionic pillars, richly cast throughout with scrolls, anthemion motifs and a central mascaron and raised on foliate feet; the three arm candelabra conforming; with key.
