A Palais Royale milk glass etui, later 19th century, France, a Palais Royale souvenir piece in the form of an opening glass egg, with rosebud embellishments to the white exterior with a gilt leaf and rope carry handle and opening mechanism to the centre, gilt mounts with beading to a leaf form foot and upon a spreading alabaster base, the egg opening to reveal two petite glass scent bottles with hinged turban tops. Height 16 cm
