Hip Flask: Sterling silver by Stokes & Ireland Ltd. of Chester, circa 1896, engraved 'Sir T.N.FitzGerald. Melbourne 10.3.00'. Thomas Naghten FitzGerald was the first Australian knighted for medicine & practised in Londsdale Street in Melbourne. FitzGerald sported a fine art collection which boasted the famous Jules Levebure oil 'Chloe' which adorned Young & Jackson's in Melbourne for many years. Approx. 440 grams
