A Philip Christian of Liverpool gravy boat, circa 1770, the footed boat having a low relief floral and scroll design throughout and decorated in enamels in the Chinese famille rose manner, with exotic birds in a rock and floral landscape to one face, and a floral spray to the reverse, with further sprigs to the interior, the rim with an iron red and gold fleur-de-lis pattern. Height 12 cm. Width 20 cm
