A Thomas Webb gilded Burmese glass and silver topped bottle, circa 1880s, the Birmingham silver top with maker's mark for Charles May, in the Art Nouveau manner, the spherical cased glass in superb blush shades modulating from deep pink to lemon and decorated by Jules Barbe with sinuous trails of Virginia creeper and bracts in thick gilded paste; with a silver domed screw top with rubbed marks to collar. Height 11 cm
