A French Louis XVI style ormolu on timber mantle clock, early 19th century, with eight day movement by C. Chretien, Paris, a gilt upon ebony dial with enamel Roman numerals, set with in a tall waisted architectural plinth with an arched section surmounted by a cupid in a scallop shell blowing a conch, with mascarons, dolphins and pendant husk motifs in the neo-classical manner and raised on scrolled figural legs.
