Description:
A rare Yaozhou compressed circular bowl, Tang/Five Dynasties, 10th century, decorated with areas of brown glaze over a white slip, possibly Huangpu kiln, Yaozhou county, 5.7 x 7.5 cm (rim), fitted box. Provenance: R & V Tregaskis, late 1990's.
