A rare fencai enamel square-shaped seal box, Qing Dynasty, early 19th century, with chamfered corners, the cover painted with a scholar and attendant beside a large waterfall, the sloping rim with a faux-wood design, further miniature landscapes in sections around the waisted base, four character red seal mark 'The blue cloud studio', 10 cm diameter. Provenance: R & V Tregaskis, late 1980's/early 90's
