A neoclassical gilt bronze and marble clock garniture, circa 1880/90; with the dial marked Caron, the painted enamel dial with Roman numerals set within a gilt bronze drum head raised on a swagged and shaped plinth base, flanked by a seated bucolic maiden, a lyre across her knees and a basket of fruit beside her, upon a verde antico marble base; the urns with a classical frieze conforming.
