Aviators: 1931 menu 'Luncheon in Honor of Wiley Post and Harold Gatty, Round-The-World-Flyers', hosted by the Mayor of New York, signed on reverse by six famous aviators - Charles Lindbergh, Wiley post, Harold Gatty, Bernt Balchen, Clarence Chamberlin and Casey Jones. a wonderful and extremely rare group. This was the first flight around the world in a fixed-wing aircraft. Wiley post was killed in a crash in August 1935. Harold Gatty, born in Tasmania, was a leading navigator, inventor and aviation pioneer, who founded Fiji Airways which later became Air Pacific.
