A French figural clock garniture, circa 1900, movement by Japy Freres and figure by Auguste Moreau, with both rococo and Art Nouveau influences, the orange marble shaped base supporting a fine enamel and painted dial with Arabic numerals and with a gilt bronze mount, surmounted by a sinuous female figure, 'Industrie', the whole supported on foliate scrolled feet; the four armed candelabra conforming.
