World War II Navigation Equipment: This interesting collection includes a P4 aeronautical pilots on-board compass from the mid-1930's, with original wooden box, serial number 21451B; Australian Navy lantern signalling portable electric, Serial 4298, R.J Parsons Engineer, Enfield N.S.W; US Airforce 1944 drift meter model B-5 with original componentry and wooden container. Serial No. Af 44 49449, made in USA by the Eastman Kodak Company; Pilots leather belt with fi re axe, working metal buckle and axe pouches. Created for the RAAF from early World War II aircraft survival axes; Aircraft tail drift sight Mk IV. Ref No. 6B/110, with original wooden box with sight holder, leather straps on the outside and 2 locking hooks; Australian RAAF heliograph full set, including all components and original metal case with strap. Issued to all pilots for emergency survival; World War II P.M.G Dd galvanometer boxed with original P.M.G. box and all componentry including internal informative stickers; World War II British Air Ministry switch box, Ref No. 5D/656.
