The collection comprises of many Warrants & Writs, Bonds & drafts. Note; some documents refer to Redmond Barry (Ned Kelly's hanging Judge); Maritime Warrant for the arrest of a ship 'Little Angelina' in the Vice Admiralty Court of Victoria (No.38) 1893; Admiralty Injunction with 'Crown' stamps; Hanging in Castlemaine for the murder of a Chinese man; Commitment Warrant for an Asylum for the insane; Documents signed by William A'Beckett; beautiful wax & blind embossed seals as well as duty stamps & cancellations; Also includes c1855 'Victorian Government Gazette' in half bound morocco This lot must be viewed & will require close examination.
